“Do you give the horse its strength or clothe its neck with a flowing mane? Do you make it leap like a locust, striking terror with its proud snorting? It paws fiercely, rejoicing in its strength, and charges into the fray. It laughs at fear, afraid of nothing; it does not shy away from the sword." Job 39: 19 -22
Meet Our Horses...
Baby

My full name is "In a Moment's Notice" but by barn name is "Baby" or "Bae". Believe it or not, I'm actually a registered Paint/Pinto horse. My markings seemed to have faded as I grew older, and now I'm a beautiful, and bright shade of gray. I have a very sweet disposition, and I'm willing to be your friend. I'm the lowest in rank in our herd, so sometimes I get picked on. Our leader, Gunner takes very good care of me though. I am quiet, and gentle, and I will take excellent care of my rider. Sometimes I can be a bit nervous, but as long as you're brave for me, we can conquer anything together!

Being the curious horse I am, I sometimes get into trouble. My excuse is, "Juice taught it to me!".
I like to be the boss and want to be the herd leader. Since I want to be in charge, I try to be the boss
of both 4-legged and 2-legged critters. I should be ridden by experienced riders as I sometime toss
a bump (or buck) into my canter and like to be bossy to my rider. I am still a bit of a chicken at heart, but I trust people and will listen (you just have to speak a little louder sometimes). Something you may not know about me is, even though I look like a faded out Buckskin, I am actually a very rare color called Amber Champange which also gave me my uniquely colored eyes!

Juice

You may think that Juice is a strange name, but it suits me perfectly! You see, when I was young, I used to test electric fences so see where I could push the fence down and get out. No matter how much “juice” they put in the fences, I would ignore the annoying zaps, and get out! Today, I still look for ways to escape the barn, just for fun. I’m the resident troublemaker, and yes, I do know how to open the stall doors. I’m extremely smart, and I am just as loving, so I am always willing to receive an affectionate scratch!

Pogo

I was the previous herd leader down here at Blessings Farm. I lost my position to Gunner when he arrived last year, so sometimes we don't really get along. Sometimes I’ll put the other horses in their places by pinning my ears back and maybe snapping my teeth, but I am really a sweetheart. I like getting scratched and being talked to, and I do my best to keep you on my back if you’re a beginner rider. I may look like a big muscular horse, but check out my face... am I cute or what?
